APPLE CIDER TIME!!!

We went to Larry's to press apple cider. Just like last year, it was delicious.

Pat, Mike, and Fiona went to the cabin this weekend for a little R & R. Fiona caught a fish on her Tigger rod. Then we went to the Bark Peelers Covention at the Lumber Museum. We went back to camp and cooked dinner over a campfire and had smores.

The Bark Peeler's Convention. The guy crouching down there in the back is Russ McKettrick. Three years ago at the BPC, Amy, Maureen, and I were talking to him. He was wearing a pair of Wild Ass jeans. Maureen asked him if there was some sort of application you needed to fill out in order to be considered a "Wild Ass" so you could wear the jeans. Maureen is very funny.

R.I.P. Mr. Big

Pat finally caguth Mr. Big, and he did it on Fiona's tiny little Tigger fishing rod.

Pat bought Fiona a Tigger fishing rod for Christmas and told her that they would use it to catch Mr. Big. On Saturday June 2, he did just that! Mr. Big was swimming around chomping away on fish pellets when he took Pat's bait. After a few minutes of wrangling with him, Pat got him close enough to the net that Larry was able to scoop him up out of the water... but Mr. Big was too big for the net and flipped back into the water. Larry then grabbed Mr. Big with both hands and flipped him onto the grass.

Mr. Big's official measurements were 25 1/2 inches long, 4 1/2 lbs.
